Yummy orange and ginger cake

    Yummy easy orange and ginger cake... Kids love it, too. Fill with a choice of orange buttercream or whipped cream.

    Makes: 2 loaf cakes

    • 220g King's Garden Gourmet Kitchen orange and ginger dressing
    • 360g sugar
    • 4 eggs
    • 450g self raising flour
    • 1 tablespoon baking powder
    • 240ml milk
    • 6 tablespoons plain flour, or as needed (optional)

    1. Preheat oven 180 C / Gas 4.
    2. Cream together sugar with the King's Garden Gourmet Kitchen orange and ginger blend.
    3. Beat eggs separately and add to sugar mixture, then add milk.
    4. Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture. At this point add the plain flour if you feel the mixture is to runny (you may not need it).
    5. Bake in a two loaf tins for 50 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Leave to cool before removing from loaf tins.
