So simple pancakes

    18 min

One of my greatest downfalls in the kitchen is pancakes! From the age of 10 I couldn't make pancakes, not even the birds would eat my disaster pancakes! However recently I came across this recipe and a method of cooking them that made them to be honestly the best pancakes I have ever tasted!

    Serves: 6

    • 3 eggs
    • 4 tablespoons plain flour
    • 3 tablespoons caster sugar
    • 180ml milk
    • butter or oil for frying

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:8min  ›  Ready in:18min

    1. In a bowl beat together the eggs, flour, sugar and milk until smooth.
    2. Heat a pan on a low-medium heat. If you have a nice non-stick pan no need to grease it, however if your pan is non-stick but still sticks, add a notch of butter or oil.
    3. Add a ladleful of pancake batter to the pan and cover with a saucepan lid for a minute or two or until golden brown underneath. Remove the lid then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side. Remove from the pan and enjoy with your favourite sauces and toppings!
