Spicy little lamb meatballs

    These spicy lamb meatballs work really well as part of a casual dinner for friends and family. Great served alongside seasonal vegetables.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 12 

    • 150g dried breadcrumbs
    • 450g lamb mince
    • 6 green onions, chopped
    • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
    • 1 egg
    • 1 teaspoon cumin
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • cayenne pepper, to taste
    • 1 small red chilli, seeded and minced
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil

    Method

    1. Preheat the oven to 200 C / Gas 6. Grease a baking tray.
    2. In a bowl combine all of the ingredients and mix well with the hands. Form into teaspoon sized balls and arrange on the prepared baking tray.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown and no longer pink in the centre. Remove from the oven and serve hot or cold.
