Aunty Em's tuna and avocado salad

    A healthy midweek treat for all those people out there who like tuna. It takes about 5 minutes to make and serves about 2 people.

    Serves: 2 

    • 3 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 tablespoon wine vinegar
    • 2 small tomatoes, chopped
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 2 tins of tuna in oil, drained
    • 100g mixed lettuce leaves, shredded
    • 1 avocado, chopped

    1. Mix together the olive oil and the wine vinegar and pour over the tomatoes with the salt and pepper. Mix together, then combine with the remaining ingredients just before your stomach devours it. Taste, and enjoy!


    Use Italian tuna if you can.
