A crunchy, chocolaty, rich fridge cake that is fun and easy to make! This recipe can easily be adapted simply by adding different crunchy bits. Some ideas to consider are: shortbread, cookies, rice krispies, chocolate bars, oats and more.

Place the chocolate, butter and sugar in a large saucepan and heat on a low heat until all melted and combined. Take off the heat.
Leave the mixture to cool slightly and then add in the cocoa powder, condensed milk, golden syrup and chocolate spread. Stir well and if it does not look chocolaty enough add more cocoa powder.
Finally stir in whatever you want to give the mixture a crunch. Personal favourites are corn flakes, digestives, marshmallows and Maltesers®! Ensure that you have enough 'crunch' so that all the chocolate mixture is incorporated.
Pour the mixture into a lined shallow tin, any shape. Leave to set in the fridge for around an hour until hard.
Remove the mixture from the tin, cut it up and ENJOY!
