    About this recipe: Ever wanted to make your own sweets? Now you can! These taste absolutely delicious and are totally impressive.

    • 4 tablespoons gelatine
    • 4 tablespoons caster sugar
    • 2 tablespoons glucose
    • 1/2 of flavouring (fruit juice, coke ect.)
    • Food colouring


    1. Put the gelatine in a bowl and add water
    2. Pour the sugar into a pan
    3. Add the glucose to the sugar
    4. Add water to the glucose and sugar
    5. Warm it on a stove
    6. Put it all together adding flavouring and food colouring too
    7. Pour into a dish and place in the fridge for an hour
    8. Scrap away and get the mixture out the bowl
    9. Cut into the shape of worms
    10. Cover in sugar

    This recipe is too basic. First time I've made gummy sweets so would have been nice to know how much water to add (I just went with 4 tablespoons), and half what of fruit juice? I went with half a tablespoon. Also, how long to heat for on the stove? I did a lot of guesswork and have come out with fairly tasteless gummy sweets. I'll know better for next time though.  -  04 Jan 2015
