Easy Lamb Koftas


    Tasty sausage type lamb dish with a mid-eastern flavour. This recipe makes 8 portions.

    • 500g minced lamb
    • 1 med onion, finely chopped
    • 2 tsp paprika
    • 1 tsp cumin
    • 1 tsp chilli pepper
    • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
    • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
    • salt & pepper to taste


    1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
    2. Divide into 8 even portions and roll into the shape of a sausage.
    3. Grill under a medium heat, turning regularly until cooked through.


    Serve with couscous and natural yogurt. Alternatively, serve in pitta bread with lettuce, tomato and natural yogurt.
