Firstly, pre-heat your oven!
Line the bottom of your glass dish with bacon.
Next, add a layer of potato.
Add diced onion, thyme and chive.
Repeat the top three steps until your dish is full.
Of course if you have quite a large dish you may need to make adjustments to ingredients.
- I also like to sprinkle some herbs/spices depending on how I'm feeling. Mostly I just like to use mixed herbs with the thyme and chive - Don't have chive? Use a clove of garlic instead! Chive is basically onion and garlic combined! - Feel free to use a meat of your choice and as many different layers of vegetables as you like!
