Summertime ice cream


    This recipe is great for a tasty treat on a hot day. Tastes even nicer because it's homemade! Surprisingly easy to make.

    • Ice cream cones
    • 400ml milk
    • 900ml double cream
    • 12 egg yokes
    • 200g caster sugar
    • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
    • Flavoring (anything from coke to popcorn)


    1. Put milk, cream and vanilla in a pan and heat it up
    2. Place the eggs over a pan of boiling water and add sugar
    3. Whisk the eggs until light and fluffy
    4. Pour egg and sugar mix into the milk, cream and vanilla
    5. Next add the flavouring (anything you want)
    6. Stir then leave to cool
    7. When cooled pour mixture into tub and put in freezer
    8. Stir every hour after 3 hours take out of freezer
    9. Scoop into cones
