Chicken brine
I use this brine when I am making fried chicken. I also poach the chicken in the same liquid for 45 mins before frying.

Ingredients
- 4-6 pints of water
- 1 orange sliced
- 2 lemons sliced
- 6 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
- 2-3 tbsp salt
- 1 large onion chopped
- 6 garlic cloves chopped
- 2 tbsp sugar 2 tsp black pepper
Method
- Pour water into a large pot and add all the other ingredients and stir. Like I said I brine the chicken in this. I usually brine it for at least 5 hours.
