You can make this with regular cream instead of the non-dairy cream, or indeed 600ml (1 pint) of regular cream instead of coconut milk and non-dairy cream.
I made this specially for my niece who is on a dairy free diet, but was very disappointed when it didn't set AT ALL, even though I used a 13g sachet of gelatine and put it in the fridge overnight! I assume this recipe was tried and tested? Therefore, I would like to know how you managed to get it to set just by using one 12g sachet as mine was just like milk! However, the flavour was lovely so I will try again one day but will use three sachets next time. - 07 Oct 2016
