    Serves: 4

    • 100g plain flour
    • 50g butter
    • 50g caster sugar
    • 3 bananas, sliced
    • 1 to 2 tins custard

    Prep:15min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:40min

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
    2. Make the crumble by sifting the flour into a mixing bowl then rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add the sugar and mix well.
    3. Place the sliced bananas in the base of an ovenproof dish then pour the custard over. Sprinkle over the crumble.
    4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until the crumble is golden brown and the custard is hot. Remove from the oven and serve.

Allow the crumble to cool for a few minutes before serving, especially for the little ones.

I used dairy free custard & butter to make it vegan. Really easy & quick, uses stuff you'd probably have in the cupboard. Great recipe. Agree with other comments that it looked nothing like the picture, think it's the wrong 'photo.  -  05 May 2018

So easy as I used ready made bought crumble and popped it in the oven while the dinner was cooking.  -  14 Jan 2018

I just made this tonight. It didn't come out looking like the one in the picture, but it tasted great. I will definitely be using this again for friends and family.  -  19 Sep 2016
