About this recipe: Bananas and whey protein make an excellent post-workout combination, providing nutrient rich fast-digesting carbs stacked with rush of quality amino acids.

Serves: 2 

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon quality honey
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 scoops vanilla or banana Sci-MX ULTRA WHEY™ PROTEIN
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 100g desiccated coconut
  • 2 large bananas, sliced

Prep:10min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:35min 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Grease a small baking tin and line with baking parchment.
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine all of the ingredients, except the bananas, and mix thoroughly. Lay the bananas on top of the mixture.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and serve.
