About this recipe: This is not the prettiest dessert I’ll give you that but bear with me and you won’t be disappointed. Think crunchy, caramel, cream, bananas and you get a gorgeous banoffee pie. It’s rich yet light, silky yet crunchy. And the fresh banana taste cuts through the sweet toffee marvellously. This is a quick and easy dessert for one, easy to multiply if you are serving more.
If you want neater layers, you can whisk the cream or shake it in the jar and then transfer to a clean jar and add the layers.
