About this recipe: Remember you can use artificial flavours or colours and you will need 4 lollipop sticks 1 clean piece of paper 1 clean bowl and 1 teaspoon.

Serves: 4 

  • 4 teaspoons icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 2 teaspoons powdered citric acid (food grade)

  1. In a dry bowl gradually combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir gently then taste test. If the mixture is not sweet enough add a little more icing sugar, if not fizzy enough add a little more bicarb and mix again. Divide into 4 small paper bags and enjoy by dipping with lollipop sticks or with your favourite lollipop.
