About this recipe:
Fantastic with almost everything. Use your imagination! The best potato varieties for roasting are Desiree, Romano and the King Edward, should you have a choice.
4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
15ml cooking oil
- Preheat the oven to 200 C / Gas 6. Place a baking tray into the oven.
- Combine the potatoes and oil in a mixing bowl and mix well until coated. Remove the baking tray from the oven and spread out the potatoes in a single layer.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, turning them over after 25 minutes, until golden brown and tender. Remove from the oven and serve.
