About this recipe: For days when you need an added boost. This low fat, super smoothie is packed full of delicious, nutritious ingredients such as oats, beetroot, apple and blueberry.

Serves: 1 

  • 25g cooked beetroot
  • 2 tablespoons rolled oats
  • 100g blueberries
  • 150ml fat free natural yoghurt
  • 100ml apple juice

Prep:3min  ›  Ready in:3min 

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and serve.


Use other soft fruit or orange juice instead of apple juice. Try replacing the oats with wheatgerm. For extra sweetness try adding 1 tablespoon clear honey.
