About this recipe: This is a recipe I grew up with. My mom modified it from the original recipe. It's an incredibly tasty dip that tastes good as a spread on a sandwich, or on crackers!

Serves: 4 

  • 225g cream cheese
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 120g mayonnaise
  • 1 (160g) tin tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 sticks celery, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • salt and pepper, to taste

  1. In a bowl mix together the cream cheese, lemon juice and mayonnaise to desired consistency. Mix in the tuna followed by the remaining ingredients. Transfer to a serving bowl. The dip can be served immediately or you can let sit for a couple of hours for the flavours to develop.
