I have added other vegetables to this soup, and it's up to you. I have tried parsnips, sweet potatoes and butternut squash. I've even substituted the celery for leeks. Once you've tried it, try and mix the vegetables. You'll have clean bowls every time. I also prefer chilli infused oil to olive oil for this recipe.
