About this recipe: I love making this, it can go with anything really, well I put it with anything that I have for dinner anyway 6/7 days a week. I love having the mushrooms with rice, on its own, or with rice and haddock or rice and chicken. This is for one person as I am the only in my house who loves mushrooms, so if you want to make it for more than one person just add extra mushrooms etc. Also sometimes I add a pinch of finely grated cheese. I even use these ingredients and method to make mushroom curry but I use chinese curry sauce that's in a tub that you have to make from using water. This can be found in Tesco, I buy it online it's from the world foods section (oriental). It be great to hear what other people add these mushrooms to. I use a tiny saucepan as I only eat them, but they do cook better in a saucepan especially when you have to turn the heat down. If your cooking this for more than one person use a bigger saucepan, you can use a frying pan the saucepan is just my choice.
I know some people say don't do it under a tap but I do, I've tried the use a damp piece of paper towel and wiping them but it takes forever; wash or clean them how you like.
