Mix the flour, egg and a small amount of milk until it forms a runny batter.
Lightly grease a frying pan over a medium heat (I use a small one so I feel I'm getting more pancakes for my calories ;). Pour about a tablespoon worth of liquid into the pan and move the liquid to spread across the pan. Cook until bubbles appear and the pancake is golden brown on the bottom then flip and cook for another minute or two. Remove from the pan and serve.
You can use skimmed milk but I find the flavour is better with semi.
