    About this recipe: A simple pancake recipe with very little calories but with the same taste. Should make 4 to 8 pancakes depending on the size of pan you are using. About 30 to 60 calories a serving depending on size.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 8 small pancakes

    • 50g plain flour
    • 1 medium egg
    • semi skimmed milk, as needed to thin

    Method

    1. Mix the flour, egg and a small amount of milk until it forms a runny batter.
    2. Lightly grease a frying pan over a medium heat (I use a small one so I feel I'm getting more pancakes for my calories ;). Pour about a tablespoon worth of liquid into the pan and move the liquid to spread across the pan. Cook until bubbles appear and the pancake is golden brown on the bottom then flip and cook for another minute or two. Remove from the pan and serve.

    Tip

    You can use skimmed milk but I find the flavour is better with semi.
