This loaf freezes well, enjoy!
I made this for the second time using a 500gm packet of mixed fruit and I used 2 eggs. I also cut the amount of sugar down to 2oz but it was still sweet enough. I did find that it took another 20 minutes or so to cook. My husband and I both loved it and found that it keeps really well and is even better after the first day. - 28 Mar 2017
I made this using the exact ingredients and loaf tin. Quite easy to make but I thought the amount was too much for the tin. When I baked it, it rose very high and I found the top burned. I had to leave in oven for the correct time for cake to cook through properly. Apart from the burnt top, it tasted nice and fruity. February 2017 - 23 Feb 2017
