About this recipe: This is a brilliant recipe that the whole family would love! Ideal for making with the kids in the run up to Easter.

Makes: 12 Easter nests

  • 150g dark or cooking chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 6 Shredded Wheat® original, crushed
  • 1 to 2 bags chocolate mini-eggs

Prep:20min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:25min 

  1. Place the chocolate in a double boiler or in a pan over barely simmering water and stir continuously until melted, about 6 minutes.
  2. Once melted, remove from the heat and and stir in the crushed shredded wheat until it is all covered in chocolate.
  3. Place a equal amount of the mix into cupcake cases then add the mini-eggs to the top. Chill in the fridge to firm up for 25 to 30 minutes before serving.
