I once had some coleslaw at a grill, and it was the best coleslaw I'd ever had because you could taste apple in it, so when I recently wanted some coleslaw for a meal I decided to make my own with some apple in it.
This works just as well with red cabbage instead of white, the dressing will just turn pinky-purple.
I make this pretty much every time I make pulled pork, works great in the roll. - 08 Apr 2015
