    Makes: 6 pizzas

    • 650ml warm water
    • 14g dried yeast
    • 1kg strong white flour
    • 1 tablespoon golden caster sugar
    • 1 tablespoon salt
    • 1 pinch black pepper
    • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil

    Prep:20min  ›  Extra time:30min proofing  ›  Ready in:50min

    1. Mix the warm water and yeast in a bowl and set aside until frothy.
    2. Combine the four, sugar, salt, pepper and oil in a large mixing bowl. After 5 minutes, add the yeast and water to the bowl and mix on a low speed for 5 minutes with a dough hook (if not using a mixer, it is possible to do by hand but will take longer).
    3. After 5 minutes you should be left with a sticky firm dough. Transfer to a bowl dusted with flour, cover with a warm damp cloth and place in a warm place such as an airing cupboard for 30 minutes.
    4. Once the 30 minutes is up, dust a surface and your hands, split dough into 6 even sized balls, roll out and enjoy right away, or store in the fridge for up to a week or even freeze the dough.
