Warm the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook and stir until soft. Add the sage, salt, pepper and beef and cook until the meat browns, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon.
Add the HP® sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco® and the beef cube dissolved in the water and leave to simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, adding a little water if the mixture dries out too much. Cook until the beef is no longer pink and a thick sauce has formed. Once it's ready serve with spaghetti.
