Avocado cream cheese dip

    You can serve this easy starter as a dip or a spread. Pick avocados that are ripe but still bright green and make sure to drizzle them with lemon juice right away so they don't turn brown.

    Serves: 5 

    • 2 ripe avocados, peeled, stones removed and diced
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
    • 1 (180g) tub cream cheese, at room temperature
    • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
    • 1 pinch garlic salt
    • pepper
    • cut up veggies, lettuce leaves, crackers, bread, deli meats etc.

    1. Drizzle the avocado with lemon juice so it doesn't brown.
    2. In the bowl of the processor, place all the ingredients and process till smooth. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
    3. Serve with veggies, crackers or bread.
