This Italian pizza bianca (or white pizza) is flavoured with mozzarella, apples and pancetta, presenting a classic sweet and salty pairing. You can make your pizza dough with this recipe or skip this step and simply top a readymade base.
For a tastier pizza, drizzle the top with 1 teaspoon of pancetta melted fat. Not really healthy, but tasty for sure.
You can peel the apple, if you like. I prefer the crunchy skin as a nice contrast to the soft pulp. Slice the apple at the very end or it will turn brown.
