About this recipe: Today it was 32ºC so we decided we would not survive without ice-cream. Instead of buying, we whipped up (my sister’s words) some homemade sorbet. We used berries for the darker sorbet and a forest fruit mix of currents, raspberries and strawberries for the lighter sorbet.

Serves: 3 

  • 1 ripe banana, roughly chopped
  • 240g frozen summer fruits
  • 80g natural yoghurt

Prep:20min  ›  Extra time:3hr freezing  ›  Ready in:3hr20min 

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a blender until at desired consistency. (If making a larger portion, remember to use a ratio of 1:3 of yoghurt to frozen fruits). Transfer to a plastic tub.
  2. Place in the freezer and mix every 30 minutes until frozen. Once fully frozen, scoop into bowls and serve.
