Priscilla's banoffee pie

    If you have a sweet tooth then this pie is definitely what you need. I made this last week for my uncle's wedding and it was a huge success!

    Serves: 8 

    • 1 large packet digestive biscuits
    • 250g margarine
    • 3 bananas
    • 2 (397g) tins Carnation® caramel, softened
    • 1 (36g) packet Bird's Dream Topping®
    • whole milk, as needed
    • 1 Flake® chocolate bar

    1. Place the digestive biscuits in a large freezer bag and beat until all crumbled into small pieces.
    2. Melt margarine in a small saucepan over a medium heat.
    3. Once margarine has melted pour over the melted biscuit and mix with hands ensuring they are all covered.
    4. Place the wet biscuits in a serving dish and spread across the bottom evenly and place in fridge.
    5. Peel bananas and chop into small cubes. Add the caramel and mix together until well combined. Pour over the biscuit base, spreading evenly and return to the fridge.
    6. Make dream topping according to packet instructions and pour evenly over the banana/caramel.
    7. Sprinkle the Flake® all over the top. Allow to set in the fridge if desired. Serve and enjoy!


    If you prefer an even amount of caramel and cream just use two packets of Dream Topping®. Also you can add the caramel over biscuits and slice the bananas over the caramel.
