Honey biscuits

    No added sugar here, just honey. These biscuits develop such lovely flavour from the honey and a touch of vanilla. Just four ingredients is all you need!

    Makes: 1 dozen biscuits

    • 100g butter, room temperature
    • 50g honey
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 175g plain flour

    Prep:15min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Preheat the oven to 150 C / Gas 2. Line a baking tray with parchment.
    2. Add butter and honey in a bowl and mix well until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla, mix, then sift in the flour and mix well. Roll out to about 5mm. Cut into shapes and place on tray.
    3. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

    This was the easiest biscuit recipe I have ever baked, really nice especially with no sugar added to the recipe. I drizzled a little honey over my biscuits as they cooled.  -  17 Feb 2018
