Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl. In a separate bowl combine the egg, oil and milk. Now add all dry ingredients to the egg mixture and mix well. Divide the mixture evenly between two microwave safe mugs.
Microwave on maximum power for about 2 minutes, or until risen and firm to the touch. Remove from the microwave and serve warm with your favourite frosting or ice cream.
