    About this recipe: It is a classic Victoria sponge cake!!!

    North-West, South Africa


    • 8 ounces butter
    • 8 ounces of sugar
    • 10 ounces of flour
    • 4 eggs
    • 2 teaspoon of baking powder
    • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract


    1. Set oven to 180 degrees
    2. Grease your 2 cake tins
    3. Put the butter and sugar in a bowl and cream
    4. Add your flour, baking powder and vanilla extract
    5. Mix
    6. Add your eggs and wisk until light and fluffy
    7. Pour into your cake tins and bake for about 20 minutes. After that check every 5 minutes.
    8. Take out of the oven and leave to cool
