Honey and garlic slow cooker chicken thighs

    An inexpensive, easy slow cooker chicken thigh recipe that uses ingredients you might already have in your freezer and cupboards. This dish is always popular with both kids and adults. Serve with rice or quinoa and steamed or roasted vegetables.

    • 4 skinless, boneless chicken thigh fillets
    • 120ml soy sauce
    • 120ml ketchup
    • 80ml honey
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 teaspoon dried basil

    1. Place chicken thighs in slow cooker.
    2. Whisk soy sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic and basil together in a bowl; pour over the chicken thighs.
    3. Cook on Low for 6 hours.

    Very nice, and easy. I realised just as dashing off to work that my thighs were with bones. But it still turned out delicious. I added cornflower near end to thicken.  -  18 Dec 2015


    Delicious, easy, store cupboard ingredients, I added chopped fresh ginger ang fresh red chillies. Will make again this week.  -  17 Jan 2018
