An easy waffle recipe with no buttermilk or yeast in sight! You can keep the batter covered in the fridge for up to a week. Just be sure to whisk well before using again. You may also use wholemeal flour in this recipe.
Kids loved it, can be used for savoury or sweet waffles. It made 16 waffles in the toaster type machine - 03 Apr 2018
They looked great, but tasted of soap! Far too much baking powder, I even used extra sugar and a little less baking powder and still found them to be inedible. - 22 Feb 2018
Great base recipe, I used self raising flour and just a teaspoon of baking powder, I also used 4 tablespoons of sugar (a family with excessive sweet toothers😆). I also added in 2 tablespoons of Creme fraiche. Delicious 😋 - 07 Jan 2018
