In a bowl, combine the butter, garlic and herbs and mix well.
Heat up the grill and toast the bread on one side. Remove from the grill, turn over and spread the garlic mixture on top. Sprinkle some shaved Parmesan on top, if desired. Return to the grill and cook until bubbling. Remove from the grill, eat and enjoy.
