I use white chocolate biscuits but you can use dark or milk chocolate inside and if you find white chocolate too sweet there's no reason why you can't use milk chocolate to coat the balls too.

For those asking, they should keep in the fridge for as long as the 'Use By' date on the mascarpone/cream cheese. There isn't much added alcohol, which could otherwise aid preservation, so I wouldn't count on it adding much keeping time. - 02 Dec 2017
