Preheat oven to 100 C / Gas 1.
Peel the cloves of garlic.
Cut into thin slices.
Dry garlic slices in preheated oven for 2-3 hours or in the the sun for 3-5 days. If the garlic slices look dry and are crisp and break easily - they are ready for the next step.
Use a blender or food processor to grind dry garlic slices into a fine powder.
Spoon the ground garlic into a clean, sterilised jar; seal with tight-fitting lid and store in a dark cupboard.
