Deep fried chicken wings

    Had to make flavoured chicken which could not be spicy for kids or too salty, this fits the bill. Serve with salad or veggies for a complete meal.

    Serves: 6 

    • 2 tablespoons plain flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon each paprika, garlic powder, 5 spice, dried ginger
    • salt to taste
    • 250 to 300g chicken wings

    1. Preheat the deep fat fryer to 170 degrees C.
    2. Mix dried ingredients together on a plate. Add wings to mix and coat thoroughly. Leave for 10 minutes if time.
    3. Deep fry in the preheated oil for 10 minutes. Remove from the fryer, drain on kitchen paper and serve.


    Chicken drum sticks , fry 12 mins or calamari fry 2 mins work with this as well.
