About this recipe: Have you got lots of leftover creme fraiche that you don't know what to do with? And to make it worse you have cupcakes in the oven and you haven't had time to buy some frosting! Well with this recipe you can solve both dilemmas with only 3 ingredients! Sorry the measures aren't exact, it all depends on how much creme fraiche you have left.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 1 batch icing

    • 1 to 5 tablespoons creme fraïche
    • 1 to 5 tablespoons icing sugar
    • flavour of your choice (see tip)

    Method
    Prep:10min  ›  Ready in:10min

    1. Scoop out the creme fraiche into a small bowl and then add a few spoonfuls of icing sugar until the mixture tastes sweet enough and becomes a thicker consistency.
    2. Add your flavourings; you can add anything really! I mixed some Nutella and cocoa powder with mine and it was delicious! And another time I used orange extract and orange zest, be creative!

    Tip

If your making chocolate frosting, I'd recommend adding some more icing sugar/sweetener/sugar as cocoa powder can be very bitter!

    Flavourings

Vanilla extract, strawberry flavouring, orange/lemon zest, cocoa powder, etc
