About this recipe: A high protein chocolate dessert made by blending avocados, natural palm sugar, raw chocolate powder, protein powder, chia seeds and coconut water. Serve with a sprig mint.


Serves: 4 

  • 2 avocados, pitted and peeled
  • 6 tablespoons palm sugar
  • 5 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoons (vegan) protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • few drops vanilla extract, to taste
  • 250ml coconut water, plus more if needed

Prep:10min  ›  Extra time:1hr chilling  ›  Ready in:1hr10min 

  1. Place avocados, palm sugar, cocoa powder, protein powder, chia seeds and vanilla extract in a blender. Pour in about 250 ml of coconut water to start with; blend until smooth, adding more coconut water of necessary.
  2. Spoon into glasses and chill for 1 hour to set.
