About this recipe: Cool and refreshing, with no artificial colours or flavourings! If you don't have ice pop moulds, you can do it the old-fashioned way with paper cups and wooden sticks.

Makes: 6 ice pops

  • 230g watermelon, seeded and diced
  • 120ml water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 dessertspoon caster sugar, or to taste

  1. Blend watermelon, water, honey, lemon juice and sugar together in a blender until smooth. Pour mixture into ice pop moulds and freeze until solid, about 2 hours.
  2. Run hot water over ice pop molds for a few seconds to unmold.
