    About this recipe: Papaya, fresh turmeric, fresh ginger and almond milk are blended together in this protein-packed smoothie that will help you storm through your day! You could also use mango instead of papaya.

    Serves: 1 

    • 250ml almond milk
    • 70g fresh papaya
    • 1 scoop of protein powder
    • 1 (2.5cm) piece fresh turmeric root, peeled and chopped
    • 1 (1.25cm) piece fresh root ginger, peeled and chopped
    • 3 ice cubes, or as desired

    1. Combine almond milk, papaya, protein powder, turmeric and ginger in a blender; add ice and blend until smooth.
