    About this recipe: This is my favourite way to cook rice! Can be easily doubled to feed a crowd.

    Serves: 4 

    • 200g jasmine rice
    • 540ml water
    • 60g butter
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon white vinegar

    1. Preheat oven to 160 C. Grease a baking or casserole dish.
    2. Pour rice into the prepared baking dish.
    3. Stir water, butter, salt and vinegar together in a saucepan; bring to the boil. Pour the water mixture over the rice; stir.
    4. Bake in preheated oven until the water is absorbed and the rice tender, 20 to 25 minutes.
