Gorgeous breakfast smoothie

    This smoothie is made with frozen fruit, so you can enjoy it all year round. Plus, you don't have to add ice to the drink, so it won't be watery! You can add in any type of frozen berries into the drink, but the recipe says to use mixed berries (such as fruits of the forest).

    Serves: 1 

    • 1 medium banana, chopped
    • 1 small handful frozen mixed berries
    • 2 heaped tablespoons natural yoghurt
    • 2 large strawberries, hulled
    • 35ml milk, very cold

    1. Using a blender, whizz the frozen berries, banana and yoghurt into a pulp.
    2. Chop the strawberries into small pieces, and add them to the blender. Whizz again.
    3. Finally, add the milk in and blend one last time, to ensure it's smooth.


    You can sieve the smoothie before drinking, but that takes away some of the nutrients.
