About this recipe: A creamy, delicious summer treat! This ice cream is made from fresh pureed peaches and made in an ice cream machine.


Serves: 32 

  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 700g caster sugar, or to taste
  • 10 fresh peaches, pitted and chopped
  • 950ml double cream
  • 475ml single cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt

  1. Puree peaches in blender or food processor.
  2. In large bowl, mix together eggs and sugar until smooth; add peach puree. Stir in double cream and single cream, vanilla and salt; mix well.
  3. Pour mixture into freezer canister of ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.


This recipe contains raw eggs. We recommend that pregnant women, young children, the elderly and the infirm do not consume raw eggs.
