    About this recipe: Blend spinach, frozen cherries, cocoa and almond milk together for a thick and creamy (but skinny) Black Forest gateaux-inspired smoothie that could double as a dessert!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 1 

    • 60g baby spinach leaves
    • 235g frozen cherries
    • 250ml unsweetened almond milk
    • 20g oats
    • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1 packet stevia or other natural sweetener
    • 1 teaspoon chia seeds, or to taste (optional)

    Method

    1. Place spinach, cherries, almond milk, oats, cocoa powder and sweetener in a blender. Blend until smooth, about 2 minutes. Pour into a glass and top with chia seeds.
