    About this recipe: Delicious vegan banana peanut butter biscuits.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 1 to 2 dozen

    • 160g mashed banana
    • 130g crunchy peanut butter
    • 125g sultanas (optional)
    • 70g soft brown sugar
    • 35g demerara sugar
    • 160g plain flour
    • 100g cocoa powder (optional)
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Method

    1. Mix the banana peanut butter and sultanas in a bowl. Add the sugars and mix vigorously until completely mixed.
    2. Add the flour, cocoa, baking powder and vanilla, and mix until smooth. Scoop the mixture into small-medium sized balls on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
    3. Bake in a preheated 190 C / Gas 5 oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
    4. Take out of the oven when lightly brown and when a skewer comes out clean.
