About this recipe:
Enjoy these baked beetroot crisps in your lunch, as a snack, or simply as a delicious alternative to crisps.
5 large beetroots, peeled and thinly sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed
salt and ground black pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 200 C / Gas 6. Spray a baking tray with cooking spray.
- Spread sliced beetroot out in a single layer on the prepared baking tray. Brush the beetroot slices on both sides with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Turn beetroot slices and continue cooking until crisp, another 15 to 20 minutes. Transfer beetroot crisps to a wire cooling rack.
