    About this recipe: Basil is the secret ingredient in this strawberry and protein smoothie that is perfect for breakfast or dessert!

    Serves: 1 

    • 225ml almond milk
    • 5 frozen strawberries, or more to taste
    • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
    • 1 large lemon, juiced
    • 1 tablespoon milled flaxseed
    • 6 fresh basil leaves

    1. Blend almond milk, strawberries, protein powder, lemon juice, flaxseed and basil in a blender until smooth.


    You can substitute the almond milk with water and coconut milk.
